2011中国&<2539;青海高原世界杯攀岩赛将于9月2日至3日在贵德国家地质公园阿什贡七彩峰丛景区举行。本届赛事由国际攀岩联合会、青海省政府共同主办，由省体育局、海南州政府、贵德县政府承办，是青海三大国际品牌赛事活动之一，主题为极限、时尚、自然、共享。以赛事为载体，大力宣传、培育和提高贵德旅游品牌形象，积极促进贵德旅游经济又好又快发展，带动和丰富群众文化体育活动。赛事将依托“天下黄河贵德清”胜景和壮美的丹霞地貌景观，将现代攀岩运动与自然完美结合，打造一届具有国际影响和地域特色的体育竞赛品牌赛事。据悉，本届赛事共设男、女难度和速度赛4个项目。世界20多个国家的近百名攀岩顶尖高手将参赛。近几年，贵德先后成功举办了七届梨花艺术节、首届抢渡黄河极限挑战赛、首届环青海湖国际公路自行车贵德段赛事和首届青海·贵德黄河文化旅游节等活动。
